Challenge
We needed to motivate potential attending physicians to volunteer their time so The Brooklyn Free Clinic (BFC) could continue providing quality care to the uninsured community of Brooklyn.
Solution
Armed with only a #2 pencil and some blank paper, my partner and I created the "We Need U" campaign. After rebranding the BFC, to make it feel modern and heartfelt, we used bold graphical words and made physicians realize that they were needed.
This campaign revitalized the clinic and in only 3 short months, we saw a tremendous increase in awareness and physician volunteers. People outside Brooklyn started to take notice too as the BFC was invited to participate in TEDMED live conference to discuss innovative topics in healthcare and medicine.
The "Women's Night" Campaign
The "We Need U" campaign was so successful and well received, that the Brooklyn Free Clinic's (BFC) asked us to create a campaign to spread the word about their Women’s Health Night. This campaign was equally as important to the community because it allowed the uninsured women of Brooklyn could take control of their health and receive proper medical care.
